19 postures of Chen Style Taiji Boxing are simplified routine adapted by Chen Xiaowang,
the demonstrator of this CD, on the basis of routine 1 of the Chen-style old frame
Taiji Boxing, in order to popularise and carry forward Chen-style Taiji Boxing. This
routine is Kungfu routine. Rely mainly on softness, integrate softness with hardness,
elegant stretching and successive penetration, calmness, steadiness, when one part
of the body movement can drive every part of the body, one part stops, hundreds of
bones accompany, exert spiral strength everywhere, trigger qi with shape, urge shape
with qi, natural respiration, striking clearly empty and solid actions, slightly
draw in the chest and bend down, accumulate strength for exertion and watch for an
opportunity to change posture, quickness alternates with slowness. This routine not
only reserves the style and characteristic of Chen-style Taiji Boxing, but also can
be the good teacher and helpful friend of the beginner.
