六字訣 (Liù Zì Jué)
Origin: Rooted in Traditional Chinese Qigong and Taoist Medical Qigong, this system has been adapted for both martial arts and health purposes. It has been incorporated into the modern health-promoting qigong syllabus taught by Grandmaster Chen Xiao Wang.
Description: The Six Healing Sounds are a set of breathing and vocal exercises from traditional Chinese medicine and Qigong. They are designed to harmonize and strengthen the body's internal organs by promoting the smooth flow of Qi (vital energy) through specific sounds and movements.
In essence, each sound is paired with a specific organ system and its associated meridian (energy pathway). By practicing these sounds, individuals aim to harmonize the flow of Qi, support organ function, and promote overall well-being.
